Summer Camp

“As a child, one has that magical capacity to move among the many eras of the earth; to see the land as an animal does; to experience the sky from the perspective of a flower or a bee; to feel the earth quiver and breathe beneath us; to know a hundred different smells of mud and listen unself- consciously to the soughing of the trees.” “Teaching children about the natural world should be seen as one of the most important events in their lives.” – Valerie Andrews/Thomas Berry

Genesee Valley’s Summer Day Camp offers children ages 4 to 17 the opportunity to play, explore, and challenge themselves in a beautiful outdoor setting. Campers experience our extensive ropes course and participate in activities that utilize the natural aspects of our property, including the lakes, forests, trails, farmland, and fields. In small groups of 8 to 12 children, campers spend the week with a highly trained counselor and discover all the exciting outdoor activities Genesee Valley has to offer! Please watch the below video to experience a day in the life of a Genesee Camper.
